Key Responsibilities:
Ensure continuous monitoring of work areas where hot work activities are being performed.
Identify and control fire risks by maintaining a constant watch during operations.
Keep firefighting equipment accessible, functional, and ready for immediate use.
Observe safety compliance and intervene promptly in case of unsafe practices.
Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors regarding potential hazards.
Remain on duty after completion of hot work to ensure no residual fire risks remain.
Skills:
Basic English speaking ability for communication on international job sites.
Strong observational skills and the ability to stay alert during long working hours.
Quick decision-making capability in emergency situations.
Effective teamwork and coordination with safety officers and workers.
Physical stamina to perform duties in demanding site conditions.
Knowledge:
Understanding of fire safety standards and industrial hazard prevention.
Familiarity with hot work permits and safety compliance procedures.
Basic knowledge of fire extinguishers and emergency response actions.
