Key Responsibilities:
Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, especially diesel generator units used in industrial operations.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure all equipment is functioning efficiently and safely according to project standards.
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to minimize downtime and maintain productivity across job sites.
Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals for accurate execution of tasks.
Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to resolve technical challenges and implement effective solutions.
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure compliance with site regulations and prevent hazards.
Assist in testing and commissioning of electrical systems during project setup and operational phases.
Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities and report any major issues promptly.
Skills:
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities in electrical systems and generator operations.
Hands-on experience working with diesel generators in construction or oil & gas environments.
Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work under strict deadlines.
Effective communication skills for coordination with team members and supervisors.
Ability to work in demanding site conditions while maintaining productivity and safety standards.
Basic computer knowledge for documentation and reporting tasks.
Knowledge:
Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline is mandatory.
In-depth understanding of generator systems, electrical circuits, and maintenance procedures.
Familiarity with industrial safety practices and compliance standards within Saudi Arabia.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance strategies to enhance equipment lifespan and efficiency.
Understanding of documentation requirements including CV preparation and submission of certificates.
Awareness of Ajeer requirements and work authorization processes is considered an advantage.
