Posting Date: July 31, 2026
Role Overview
Nwader Al-Jubail General Contracting Est. is hiring a Fire Fitter to join an active Hyundai project site. Fire protection work sits at the core of any large industrial build — piping, sprinkler systems, and suppression equipment all have to be installed and tested to exacting standards before a facility can pass safety inspection. On a project of this scale, that responsibility falls to skilled tradespeople who understand both the mechanical work and the codes behind it.
For fitters with hands-on fire protection experience, this posting offers a two-year contract with a major contractor, free food and accommodation, and steady project-based work in one of Saudi Arabia’s busiest industrial hubs. It’s a solid entry point into Gulf jobs for candidates who already have the trade skills and are ready to relocate.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Install fire protection piping, sprinkler heads, valves, and related fittings according to project drawings
- Fabricate and assemble pipe sections on-site, including cutting, threading, and grooving
- Test installed systems for leaks, pressure integrity, and proper function
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades to keep installation work on schedule
- Follow all site safety procedures and maintain accurate work records
Practical Skills
- Reading and interpreting fire protection and piping drawings
- Pipe fitting, threading, grooving, and welding as required
- Familiarity with hand and power tools used in fire suppression installation
- Ability to work at height and in confined industrial spaces
- Basic troubleshooting when systems fail pressure or flow tests
Required Technical Background
Candidates should understand NFPA-based fire protection standards or equivalent codes commonly applied on Gulf construction and oil and gas sites. Familiarity with sprinkler system layout, standpipe systems, and fire pump connections is expected. Basic knowledge of site safety protocols — permit-to-work systems, PPE requirements, and hot work procedures — is also important, since fire fitting work often overlaps with hot work on active sites.

Applicant Checklist
Before reaching out, make sure your Absher Iqama status is current, gather proof of physical fitness, arrange a passport-size photo, and confirm your Muqeem business record is in order — these are the documents this employer has specifically requested. Your original passport will also need to be submitted, so keep it accessible rather than in storage. Double-check that your trade experience genuinely matches fire fitting work before applying, since mismatched applications waste time for both sides.
Quick Career Advice
If you’re called for an interview, bring examples of past fire protection or piping projects you’ve worked on — even photos on your phone can help demonstrate hands-on experience when formal certificates aren’t available.
